The Fn key is typically located next to the Ctrl key in the lower-left corner of the keyboard. If your Dell keyboard is designed that way, you only have to use the Function or Fn key. This keyboard design has the M, J, K, L, U, I, O, 7, 8, and 9 keys also functioning as numbers 0 to 9, respectively when Num Lock is activated. Instead, the Numpad is integrated into the keyboard, so the number keys are on the letter keys. Some Dell laptops, such as the Inspiron series, don’t have a separate numeric keypad.
